Low Energy Designs Managing Director, Alan Parker took on and completed Teddy20’s Social South Cycle 2019 challenge.
The Social South Cycle 2019, involved a team of 6 cycling around 250 miles in 3 days to raise awareness and funds for Teddy20 Supporting Children with Cancer.
With very little training Alan managed to finish all 3 days and raised an impressive £ 1200.00, which he will share between Teddy20 and Soi Dog Foundation.
In the last 2 years Alan has taken part in and completed Teddy20’s Paris to Blandford Cycle and 4 Countries in 4 Days.
Alan said “Teddy20’s cycle challenges are always great fun… a lot of hard work and determination but when you know there are children suffering with cancer and animals across the world being tortured and killed, cycling 250 miles is nothing.
This was my third year taking part in Teddy20’s cycling challenge and was definitely the hardest year yet but we had an amazing team who kept morale high and supported one another where needed. It’s not all about the cycling, you get to see some great places with a bunch of great people, laugh A LOT, support each other and bring back with you some amazing memories.
I managed to raise £1200 which I am sharing between Teddy20 and also the Soi Dog Foundation – another charity close to my heart, that I regularly support.
I hope more cyclists get involved, it’s a great challenge for a great cause.”
