WARNING:

From our experience with LED lights being provided in the market, many companies are stating they have quality or certified fittings, however  when challenged they either cannot provide the certification, or the fixtures are only built to compliance. Therefore the quality and performance of these products are highly questionable and from actual experience there is a very high failure rate or under performance resulting in the increasing of carbon footprint by having to increase production in certain regions to replace these products.

If you are purchasing a product which you expect to last from 12 – 25 years plus, then please do look at what goes into it. Typically if you purchase a cheap low quality fitting that has no independent certification or proof of performance, then expect to replace this product well before its time.

The individual light fitting and all parts within the individual light fitting shall have the following approvals:

  • CE
  • IP rating
  • EMC
  • FCC
  • BS EN 60598-2-3:2003
  • BS EN 60598-1:2004
  • PN Junction Testing
  • Total Luminous Flux Tests @ 0 & 4,000hr

The above approvals must be accredited through an independent UKAS (ISO 17025) testing house or internationally recognised testing facility.  All certification including PN junction test results are available.
