LED Lighting Upgrade:

Stockholm City Arts School, Sweden

Choose to install long-life LED lighting

Project: To install long-life LED lighting

The Brief -

The premises of the Stockholm City Cultural School had a redevelopment in the Globe area. They chose to install LED lighting from Low Energy Designs. The desire of the school was to have energy-efficient and long-lasting (LED) lighting that will not dazzle and will provide a soft and comfortable light that would be possible to dim. The demands of the average light intensity was 400 lux in the common areas and 500 lux in the classrooms.

The Solution -

We chose to install the SkyLIGHT 66 ELP and Glow 180 in all the various facilities. These luminaires are dimmable and in this case provide a daylight white light. The school uses manual dimmers to control light to suit their different needs. The lighting is used in common rooms, music room, media room and dance halls. Since this was a new premises there is no comparative data for saving calculations.

SkyLIGHT 66 ELP has been replaced by the Sky Panel 66. Glow 180 has been replaced by Glow CTC.
