“During the early stages of the project, it quickly became clear that LED were the perfect
partner to meet our needs. We explored a number of options and providers, but LED’s proposal stood out through its comprehensive analysis of our current systems and clear methodology of the potential energy and cost savings. They visited site on a number of occasions and were responsive to our changing needs as we developed the project brief.
Despite an inconvenience on day one of the installation (no fault of LED) that delayed the install, the LED guys worked really hard and managed to finish the project ahead of schedule, with all work being carried out whilst our busy distribution centre remained fully open and without any impact to our daily operations. The end result is great – the lighting levels are fantastic which is crucial for our 24/7 operations and the working environment much improved for our teams, together with the huge energy savings of around 80% which has exceeded our expectations.

The Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Bournemouth
"As a relatively earlier instigator of LED and following the successful and cost effective lighting scheme developed by Low Energy
Designs and installed between late 2010 and 2012 for the general car park lights around the hospital (which has proved to be a
long lasting and quality solution), lighting within a relatively new multi-storey carpark was identified in 2013 as requiring
improvement due to becoming time consuming and costly to re-lamp.
Low Energy Designs were approached to provide retro-fit LED lighting trays to existing luminaire chassis’(in addition to
replacement luminaires on the roof deck), providing a cost effective replacement whilst retaining or indeed improving required
lighting levels and reducing energy requirement. Once again the solution was proved to be extremely successful and has again
proved to be long lasting. The support provided by both the company and individuals has proved to be excellent over the now nine
years of association.
A couple of issues have arisen as would be expected over such a large site network of approximately 750+ units which was due to
power supply failure and all have been dealt with quickly and satisfactorily."

“The difference the lights have made to the indoor arena are fantastic! The arena is so much brighter and inviting for horses
that it makes it impossible to find fault. Compared to the old lights which were in the arena the difference is fantastic. The first
thing I noticed was the fact that there were no shadows, I popped a few jumps and can safely say there was no issue with
shadows, be it on the fences or underneath them. It was a nice change to be able to jump around a course without struggling to
see a stride due to a shadow. I also noticed that the lights don't make a noise when they are on which makes a nice change
and seems to keep the horses slightly more relaxed. Having worked in the arenas for 6 years it's very difficult to pick fault with
the lights and a lovely change to have ones which are so good”.

“Low Energy Designs Ltd were contracted by us in 2015 to fit new LED lighting systems for both our 2-court tennis hall and our sports hall. They were professional and helpful during the planning stages and tendered a competitive quote which was accepted. The work was completed very efficiently and to our satisfaction and in time for the 2015-16 winter season. The lighting has made a huge difference to both halls being much more sophisticated and a great improvement. There have been no significant problems as we enter into our third season with them. The couple of minor problems since installation have been dealt with quickly and efficiently and within their guarantee.
The savings to our electricity costs have been very significant, if not quite as great as predicted by the company, and in line with what we expected meaning that the total cost of installation will be recouped with 5 years of the installation.
As a company they are pleasant and easy to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending them without reservation.”
