Project: To replace the rest of the outdoor lighting.

The Brief -

From ICA's central warehouse in Hacksta, Västerås, goods are exported to distribution centers around Sweden. ICA has already replaced parts of their outdoor lighting to our smart LED and they've now chosen to replace all lighting for the same lighting solution that we previously delivered and installed.

Outside the central warehouse there is a so-called driving range where trucks drive to arrive at loading bays for loading and unloading. There are also large staff parking spaces. The old lighting consisted of a mixture of sodium and mercury headlights and wall fittings. As a result, the old fixtures cost a relatively large amount of money in energy consumption and maintenance.

The Solution -

In order to meet the requirements for energy-efficient lighting, ICA chose to replace the 1000 watt headlights mounted at 20 meters with our Smart LED SunBURST 8 ULTRA. This luminaire has a reflector around each LED diode which is suitable for high masts. This optic minimizes light spillage and therefore becomes extra energy efficient. Loading areas were complemented with our Phoenix 6 luminaires. To increase visibility and safety, daylight white variants were chosen with a colour temperature of 5500 Kelvin.

The SunBURST has been replaced by the SunSHINE.
