Project: Install LED lighting to help reduce the overall environmental impact Gregory Distribution

The Brief -

Gregory Distribution need to replace approx. 68 x 400 watt high bays in their new warehouse. After our extensive lighting analysis and design we found that the best solution would be to replace these with our LumiOPTIMA 5218 and include our intelligent controls such as; daylight harvesting, maintained light levels and motion detection.

The Solution -

The LumiOPTIMA 5218 is fully dimmable and runs at approx. 171 watts. Providing 27672 lumens and a colour temperature of 5300 kelvins It’s contemporary and engineered design makes this the ideal choice for maximising light and minimising power.

Utilising our intelligent controls we've programmed the lights to switch off after 10 mins if motion is not detected. 3 of these lights situated in the corners of the building have been programmed not to switch off but to dim down to 30% of the original light output after the 10 minute motion detection period. This helps to reduce costs further when there is low footfall in the warehouse.

At the beginning of January, Gregory Distribution installed our intelligent LED lighting solutions throughout their North Tawton premises. Today, Gregory Distribution continue to thrive as 'delivery winners' and have decided to use our 'winning' LED lighting solutions for their new premises in Avonmouth.

Gregory Distribution have a very simple aim: To protect and improve the environment through pro-active management and the adoption of best practice. Installing energy efficient LED lighting is another step Gregory Distribution are taking to reduce their environmental impact.
