New Ecodesign Requirements

However, the industry faces challenges as a substantial number of lamps currently available on the market fall short of the proposed standards, potentially leading to their effective banning this autumn.
These draft proposals, integral to the lighting efficacy standards of the Energy-related Products Policy Framework, were unveiled in November 2021.
