Project: To reduce energy consumption

The Brief -

The property owner, Kungsleden are upgrading another 3 garages In the three properties Vipan, Verkmästaren and Vårblomman, to LED lighting. Kungsleden has set a long-term goal of reducing energy consumption by 20 percent by 2020.

The Solution -

In all 3 parking garages, the LumiROD 414 was installed. This LED light is a daylight white and highly energy efficient luminaire, providing 167 lumens per watt. A daylight white variant of 5300 Kelvin was used to increase the visibility of the garage and create a fresher living environment.

The LumiROD 414 is fully dimmable between 0-100%. The luminaire is equipped with a built-in light & motion sensor. To increase savings where possible and reduce energy usage we chose to use a built-in microwave sensor for presence control. The luminaires are configured to use 10% power (about 4 watts) if motion is not detected. When motion is detected, they turn on to full power for ten minutes. Motion sensor settings can be easily changed in place (after installation) with a remote control.

The LumiROD 414 has a high protection class (IP66) with a smooth upper side that is suitable for parking garages or other dirty environments. This means that the luminaire lights longer and clearer with minimal or no maintenance requirement.
