Project: To illuminate 10 children’s playgrounds with LED lighting
After a lengthy period of evaluation Sollentuna Energi has decided to give confidence to Monde Verde (the Swedish distributor of Low Energy Designs LED products) to supply light fixtures for an additional 10 playgrounds in the municipality of Sollentuna.
The Phoenix 3 provides 3460 lumens when running at the maximum power of 33w. Added features such as a PIR will dim down the luminaires to 10w when no-one is around. As soon as motion is detected the luminaires will automatically increase to provide the maximum 33w. As long as motion is detected the luminaires will stay at full power.
These features have been included for consideration of the light impact in the residential areas and to reduce energy costs further.
The Phoenix has been replaced by the Norrsken.
