Project: To illuminate the popular 2km trail on Eriksö

The Brief -

The municipality of Vaxholm wanted new lighting in the popular floodlit track on Eriksö. The existing lighting consisted of 125 watt mercury-based light sources. The Floodlit trail is 2 km long and for much of the route you can see the water.

The Solution -

The municipality of Vaxholm decided to use our SunBURST 4, with optics which spreads the light along the track. The Sunburst is a small, compact luminaire which is manufactured entirely of cast aluminium with high protection class (IP66). This LED product with a colour temperature of 5500 K (daylight white) was selected for the best possible results.

The SunBURST has been replaced by the SunSHINE.
