Project: To PROVIDE A RELIABLE, LOW COST SOLUTION.

PRODUCTS USED:

Aalco's Aylesbury branch supplies metal products to customers across the UK. Following our initial contact, the team were keen to take advantage of our free site survey to explore how upgrading to LED lighting could improve the performance and efficiency of their facility.

During the survey, we identified several issues with the existing lighting system. Several fittings were approaching the end of their lifespan or had already failed, leading to increased maintenance requirements and ongoing replacement costs. Aalco needed a reliable, long-term lighting solution that would reduce these issues while improving light quality throughout the site.

After assessing the existing installation, we produced a comprehensive lighting design along with a detailed return on investment analysis. Our proposal demonstrated that upgrading to the LumiOPTIMA LED lighting system could deliver annual savings of more than £15,000, providing both immediate operational benefits and an excellent long-term return.

Once the project was approved, our production team manufactured the LumiOPTIMA luminaires and included intelligent sensors which provide motion detection and daylight harvesting on brighter days. The installation was then completed by our NICEIC-certified engineers, ensuring the new lighting system was installed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to Aalco's day-to-day operations.
