Project: To reduce energy consumption by installing LED lighting

The Brief -

Ecopac Power UK, is an authorised distributor of Mean Well power supplies, LED power supplies and LED drivers in addition to Vox Power, Powermate and their own Ecopac branded products. Ecopac UK Power Ltd was established in 1995 as a distributor of Power Supplies and dc/dc converters into the electronics industry in the UK and Ireland. To begin with Ecopac Supplied high quality, good value power products to OEM's in the telecoms, industrial equipment makers, medical, instrumentation & the signage industry. However more recently we have also been a major supplier of LED drivers into the lighting industry, as that particular industry has grown.

Ecopac started looking for ways to reduce their energy consumption. One way they could do this was by installing low-energy LED lighting.

The Solution -

Ecopac wanted to change the lighting in their Office, Racking area and Goods in area. In the Office and Racking areas there were 60 x Quad 2ft panels which were running at 72 watts each.

In the Goods in area there were 8 x High Pressure Sodium lamps which were running at 400 watts each. We replaced 60 x Quad 2ft panels with 60 of our SkyLIGHT 66 ELP. The SkyLIGHT 66 ELP is an LED panel which runs at 34 watts. We replaced the 8 x HPS lamps with 8 of our SunRAY 10 LED. The SunRAY 10 LED is a powerful low or high bay product which runs at 110 watts.
