Project: To save energy whilst improving the working environment with LED lighting.

The Brief -

ICA Real Estate wants to save energy while improving the working environment for its employees. In the large office area, the needs of lighting are slightly different depending on what task you have. We have contributed by delivering an energy-efficient and variable-white lighting to the office. Previously, many LED luminaires have been tested but none of these have passed the lighting requirements here.

The Solution -

We replaced ICA's office lighting with our Sky Panel CTC. This luminaire is light and super thin (12 mm) and can be mounted directly in the ceiling tiles. This luminaire can also change the colour temperature between 3000-5700 Kelvin, that is, from warm white to daylight white, with wireless or DALI control. In this case, wireless control was chosen in the form of a simple, hand held remote control.

The advantage of this solution is that during a meeting you can turn off, dim down or change the colour of light depending on the activity in the room. To solve the various requirements in the office landscape, the luminaires have been grouped into 8 groups or zones, where they are most easily Controlled from the remote control. Now, the brightness and colour temperature are adjusted according to the various tasks they have.
