The Brief -

After a successful transformation of the sports hall, St Peter’s Catholic School returned to Low Energy Designs with a new challenge: revitalise the theatre. The existing lighting was leaving aisles in shadow and the emergency lighting needed upgraded.

The Solution -

We designed a new lighting scheme focused on safety, clarity and control.

The project included:

• Removal of existing emergency fittings, including bulkheads, frog-eyes and glows.

• Installation of LED luminaires, chosen for efficiency, longevity and output.

• Integration of Bluetooth sensors to give flexible control over individual lighting zones.

• Emergency lighting upgrade.

The theatre at St Peter’s Catholic School has moved from dim and dated to bright, efficient and intelligently controlled. By replacing ageing fittings with a tailored suite of LED luminaires and integrating Bluetooth sensor technology, Low Energy Designs delivered a solution that boosts safety, sharpens visibility and cuts energy waste, all while giving the school far greater control over how the space is used.
