The Brief -

BGA Videoproduction AB works in the transfer of analogue material such as Super 8 and Videoband to digital format. The head office is located in Gävle in Sweden and consists of a large warehouse space. The company wanted to upgrade the lighting in the warehouse, the desire was for an energy-efficient and smart lighting solution providing a higher lighting intensity. The new lighting solution should provide 300 lux in average illuminance in all areas of the warehouse.

The Solution -

The new lighting consists of our Smart LED LumiMOD 2 which is highly energy efficient, provides 20,230 lumens at full power which is ideal for high bay applications. To increase savings further, each luminaire has been equipped with a built-in light and motion sensor for control and dimming. In addition to energy efficiency, they also provide a day white light of 5300 Kelvin in colour temperature. This colour temperature has positive effects by improving the visibility and concentration of those who work in the warehouse. This in turn reduces accidents whilst increasing production in the work environment.
