The Company have a global client base including International and National oil Companies. Drilling Systems was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Bournemouth, UK.

When we contact Drilling Systems in Bournemouth they were thrilled to know that we could lower their energy usage by up to 80% just by switching to LED. When we told them about our free site surveys and analysis they were keen to get our technician to survey their site and provide them with realistic savings.

The Solution -

The old lighting at Drilling Systems consisted of 400w High Bays and 140w 6ft twin tubes in the factory areas and 72w 600 x 600 panels, 28w Bulkheads and 28w Downlights in the office areas.

We chose to replace the old factory lighting with out LumiOPTIMA at 110w and LumiROD 416 at 54w. The LumiOPTIMA and LumiROD 416 are fully dimmable from 0-100%. These luminaires have been equipped with a built-in light and motion sensor. This integrated motion sensor can be set to the lowest setting, for when no presence is detected, at between 0-90% of the original light output, to maximise saving further.

We replaced the office lighting with the SkyLite ECO, HaloLITE and our Glow 240.
