The Brief -

Since 1901, Vispring has been dedicated to crafting the finest handmade beds using the highest-quality materials. Committed to sustainability, the company ensures all materials are sourced responsibly and are fully biodegradable. Their timber comes exclusively from Forest Stewardship Council-certified forests.

When Vispring sought to improve lighting efficiency, they aimed to achieve brighter workspaces while reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs. This project involved upgrading nearly 500 lights across manufacturing bays 1–13, along with some additional side areas.

The Solution -

A range of our LED products was installed throughout the site. In the main production area, over 400 fluorescent lights were replaced with SmartROD 80 LED fixtures. These lights feature intelligent microwave sensors that automatically adjust power and brightness based on preset settings, turning on and off as needed. The settings can be easily adjusted via remote control from ground level.

With a 5000K colour temperature, the new lighting closely mimics natural daylight, enhancing visibility and making colours and movements easier to perceive. This improvement not only creates a more comfortable working environment but also boosts health and safety standards in the workplace.

The installation of SmartROD 80 LED lighting at Vispring has significantly improved energy efficiency, visibility, and workplace safety. With intelligent sensors and a daylight-mimicking 5000K colour temperature, the new lighting system enhances productivity while reducing costs and maintenance.
