The Brief -

Last year we helped Karndean Designflooring reduce their energy consumption by installing our intelligent LED lighting solutions at their site in Evesham, so impressed by the quality and savings our products provide Karndean Designflooring chose us once again to upgrade the warehouse lighting in their training building.

The Solution -

The best LED solution to reduce energy and CO2 whilst providing the required light levels was our LumiMOD range, a modular high-bay luminaire. We've incorporated an intelligent Microwave sensor in each light which provides motion detection and daylight harvesting.

In areas of low footfall the sensor will reduce the light output or turn the light off completely. On sunnier days, the sensor will adjust the light output depending on the set threshold and the amount of natural light that is provided through the roof skylights. There are various settings and thresholds that can be applied to the lights via a simple remote.
